| What kind(s) of artwork files do you accept? We accept full-size, high resolution graphics at a minimum of 300 dpi. in one of the following formats: .tiff, .psd, .eps, .ai, .cdr. Unable to send your artwork in these formats? Contact us and we will guide you in the right direction!
| Can I use a graphic I found on the web? Internet graphics and images are set at 72 dpi, which is too low of a resolution to print well. It is suggested that you use the quality artwork that we provide on our site. However, we want to serve you the best way we can. If you need to use a web graphic, an artwork fee may be assessed. We calculate artwork charges by the amount of time it will take to "touch-up" your design. In certain cases, we may have to redraw your graphic.
| I don't have a design. Is there a charge to create a design for me? The art charges are less if we use one of our custom designs, of course. Check out our design templates and try our online designer. These are great tools that are easy to use and best of all, THEY ARE FREE! You can use our artwork or upload your own. If you want us to create a custom design for you based on your ideas or sketches, a $50 per hour art charge will be charged.
| I have two designs and I want to print 36 shirts of each. Will this allow me to receive the 72 quantity price break? Each design requires separate screen set-up
and will be priced as a separate order.
| Are there limits to the designs you print? We redeem the right to refuse printing of any design that we find offensive or distasteful. If you have to ask, it's probably offensive.
| What is the minimum number shirts you will print for me? Twleve pieces is our minimum for screen-printed apparel products. Promotional products and decals vary by product. Orders less than 12 pieces will be printed using heat press vinyl.
| Is it possible for me to place an order today and have my product shipped by tomorrow? Our normal production time is 7-10 workdays once we have received a signed confirmation of your approval of the design. This excludes special-ordered products that may not be available from one of our suppliers. If you are a repeat customer and know that you will need your order a month from now, call us. We will pencil it in on the schedule and call to remind you a couple weeks beforehand. If, however, you do need your product in a rush, we will work to make it happen for you as production allows.
| Do you charge a screen set-up fee? Yes we do. Screen fees can be assessed two ways: directly or built in to the total price of your product. We prefer to give you a piece price with the set-up fees included. There is no such thing as "no set-up fees". Screens cost money. If they were free, then you would not be charged for the set-up.
| What is an underbase and a flash cure? If your design is to be printed on a colored shirt an underbase (or primer coat) of white ink must be used as a base for the print. Without it, the ink colors will be dull and sometimes non-existent. An underbase is an additional screen with an additional color charge. A flash cure is when we double print a color on your shirt. If a light ink is printed on a colored garment, we will usually print the light color twice so that the dark fabric doesn't show through the light ink.
| Is there an additional fee for printing my design printed on variety of colored shirts? Not if the same color of ink will be used. There is a $10 ink change fee if your design will be printed in different ink colors. For example, if your design is red ink on a white shirt, and black ink on a grey shirt, we will charge one ink change fee to set up the press from red to black ink.
| What is a PMS color matching fee? PMS stands for Pantone Matching System. We have over 60 different colors on hand and will not charge to match the color of your design. In cases where the exact PMS color must be used, we charge a $40 PMS matching fee which is charged to us by our ink distributor.
| Can you make my design glow-in-the-dark? We would love to! We can do many types of specialty printing to make your designs stand out. This includes high density, puffy, glow-in-the-dark, metallic, glitters, suede, and more.
| How do I know that you're going to print the images where I want them printed? Prior to printing, we will email a proof that shows the approximate position of the design and the dimensions. We must received written approval of the proof before we will begin printing.
| Do you have any hidden fees that will be added to the price of my product prior to shipping or delivery? No. We have designed this FAQS page in efforts to explain anything that may carry an additional charge.
| How can I get my shirts cheaper? Here are some options:
Reduce the number of colors or print locations for your design. Print more shirts! The more shirts you order, the less they cost per piece.
| When is my payment due? Full payment is due at the time you place your order. This saves us the hassle of having to track you down like a dog if you forget to pay us or leave the country unexpectedly. This rule applies to everyone; family, and friends.
| How will my products ship? We ship products via UPS or FEDEX ground anywhere in the United States. Delivery time varies according to zip code. If you are local, you may stop by our shop to pick up your merchandise. We do make local deliveries for many customers who just dont't have enough time. Local deliveries are made on Friday's.
